Our design engineers combine manufacturing technology options with the specific component requirements of our customers. In cooperation with the development and sales departments, the development projects of our customers are implemented constructively.<\/p>\n
To ensure system compatibility with all our customers, ODENWALD has CATIA V5 and V4.2, UG\/NX3 as well as neutral formats such as IGES or Step.<\/p>\n
Direct data lines to our customers guarantee a secure data transfer.<\/p>\n

Our innovative prototyping department is able to produce prototypes and near-series sample parts at short notice, which enable our customers to carry out effective and realistic installation tests or functional checks.<\/p>\n

Materials engineering<\/strong><\/p>\nOur experienced employees are constantly working on innovative new and further developments and are in close contact with our suppliers for this purpose.\u00a0 Materials technology also ensures quality assurance during production. The following tests according to the specifications and requirements of our customers are carried out at ODENWALD:<\/p>\n
– Aging resistance<\/p>\n
– Burning behavior<\/p>\n
– climate change test<\/p>\n
– Strength\/elongation measurement<\/p>\n
– Driving rain tightness test<\/p>\n
Further tests are carried out together with external partners or renowned institutes.<\/p>\n
Measurement technology<\/strong><\/p>\nIn addition to a 3D measuring machine, we have a state-of-the-art 3D scanner for non-contact or tactile object detection.<\/p>\n
The scanner enables the dimensionally accurate quality control of molds and molded parts made of foam materials.<\/p>\n
Scanning of construction spaces, on site at the customer’s or at ODENWALD’s premises, enables – in the shortest possible time – the production of accurately fitting prototypes. With the 3D scanning software, our designers are able to create 3D volume models and derive them into drawings entirely according to our customers’ specifications.<\/p>\n
